Jharkhand cement factories adopt plastic waste as fuel
01 Nov 2019
In tune to India’s vision of becoming a plastic-free country, cement industries in Jharkhand are set to process plastic waste to generate fuel for the plants' working. As per the Jharkhand State Pollution Control Board, the first to take up the challenge is the Jhinkpani cement factory in the West Singhbhum district of the state – where once the plastic refuse reaches 400o centigrade, it will be used as fuel for the clinker units.
